Work has begun on our new all year round pitch. This is a very exciting project.

The best artificial turf pitches are designed to optimise performance, prioritise safety, and enhance speed and agility.

The Project works include:

Perimeter kerbing

Spectator fencing

Trek boards

Netting

Installation of carpet and shock pad

6 no. floodlights

Long jump area

900 sq/m car park

Electric Car Charge points

Once complete, the new pitch will be tested to meet FIFA and World Rugby standards.

2022/2023

The LRC/Library has had big changes. It’s a more modern, spacious area with a newer IT Suite and the rooms can be closed off from one another with the Bi-Folding doors.

2020/2021

The new roof and internal work has started over on the Design Tech side and the Kitchen roof also.

Demolition work finally begins to clear away the old 1990’s mobile classrooms, making way in the next few weeks, for our much awaited 8 classroom new build!

The Boys & Girls toilets have been removed and replaced and look so much better for it.

New Interactive TV Touch Screens have started being put in to the classrooms. 122 Computer Suite is ready to be used.

The Roofing works have made it past the Main Hall

217 & 219 have been converted from IT Suites to new science labs

A fully bricked ‘N Block’ is coming along and the final mobile classroom has come down.

Work on the roof has got past the Schools Main Entrance.

The main ‘N Block’ building is almost complete

‘N Block’ is now safe, useable classrooms.

A much better learning enviroment compared to the old mobile classrooms!

The Quad area roof has been completed and the ‘skylight’ area in the Art classroom 201 has been replaced and modernised.

Work is well under way in joining the new ‘N Block’ walkway to the main building and J Block.

The Sports Hall has had a makeover and is now much brighter and cleaner.

New Covered Areas have been created outside M Block, the Dining Room and Lake Street Gym

New Access has been created on the Design Tech Block

Brand New Internal and External Stockport School Branded Signage

The ‘N Block’ building walkway is complete.

The Whole School Roofing work is now complete.
